The Battle of Lewes: A New Walking Trail

The 14th May 2022 will mark the 758th anniversary of the Battle of Lewes (an important stepping stone on the road to democracy in the UK)! As part of this year’s celebrations a new walking trail, funded by Lewes Town Council, The Battlefields Trust and the South Downs National Park Authority is being unveiled on Friday 13th May. The new walking trail features six QR/NFC codes on posts, panels and interpretative signage which link to short videos that are available to watch on all mobile devices which were produced by The Company (experts in site-specific theatre and local film making). Claire features in several of the videos as the historical expert interviewed by the actor Mark Williams (The Fast Show, Father Brown, Harry Potter franchise).
