Field of Glory: Kingdoms

Claire has been working with Slitherine, the world’s leading producer and publisher of digital wargames and strategy games, to produce new video content for Field of Glory: Kingdoms (FoG). FoG is set in 1054, just after the Great Schism, and it encompasses more than two centuries of European, African, and Middle Eastern history. In the new video series ‘A Lens On: Snapshot’ Claire explore the real history behind the game including medieval medicine, maritime technology and exploration, warfare and castles, social hierarchies and common misconceptions about the Middle Ages. Claire was also interviewed by Dr Robert Houghton for Slitherine’s Field of Glory (FOG) Day in June. A recording of the event can be found here.
